Predictions state that the new 2020 Subaru Forester may be coming with massive bumpers, new grille, and highly likely a different size as well. The idea to make the car look bigger and bolder (more aggressive too) is designed to appeal younger drivers. Moreover, it is also possible that new different colors will be offered to appeal this market.
What about the interior cabin? Although the changes won’t be too dramatic, there are certainly going to be a change. The upgrade feature of instrument cluster, steering wheel updates, and the addition of multimedia display screen are part of the refreshment. There will be additional safety features, including security systems and electronic assistants. There’s rumor about the new autopilot technology but Subaru hasn’t confirmed it yet.

Although there hasn’t been anything official about the upcoming 2020 Subaru Forester, it is likely that there will be some engine arrangements due in production. The naturally aspirated engine with 2.5 liter capacity, delivering 170 HP, has been considered. It is also possible to include the turbocharged unit with 2.0 liter capacity for 240 HP.
There is also a possibility of using hybrid unit. Considering that Subaru has made a plan that they are going to release the 2021 model as a pure electric vehicle, the 2020 model may be viewed as a test case. For the transmission, they will use the CVT and manual six speed transmission.
There hasn’t been any exact data about the launch and the price, but it is highly likely that it will happen at the beginning of 2019. The price is predicted to start from $21,000 for the base and reach $35,000 for the higher trim of 2020 Subaru Forester.
