I wasn’t really that happy.
Looks like all I am doing is trying not to fall over. I think I was behind those two guys for about three miles.
That is my friend Don on the right, who talked me into doing this crazy race, and his friend Adam on the left.
And the hike on Sunday:
A rest stop at a shelter.
Some overnight campers had a fire going.
Lunch afterwards at the Hunters Head Tavern. That’s me all the way in the back.

They have trail runs here, but after seeing the wounds of people that have tried them, I’m not convinced that is a great idea for me
The Hike looks wonderful. And you look great! I’m going to have to ask you about this meet-up stuff. Sounds like so much fun.
vegmom – technical trails are definitely treacherous, but the trail I run on most of the time is flat and safe. Totally non-technical and great for running. I love meetups, I have met some great people (most are single and looking for relationships I think, but none will admit it).
